SUMMARY:Guy Fawkes Bonfire Night
DESCRIPTION:In 1605\, thirteen young men planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Among them was Guy Fawkes\, Britain's most notorious traitor.     Each year\, on the first Saturday in November\, Jack Russell Farm Brewery (and now Winery)\, celebrates this British Tradition with a bonfire\, burning the effigy of Guy.

SUMMARY:James Williams Memorial Cornhole Touney
DESCRIPTION:    In December 2009\, James Williams\, Jack Russell Brewery's  long time sales and distribution person died in a car accident going over the Sierras.   James had an infectious personality and was well liked by everyone that knew him.  And for those that frequented Jack Russell or carried our beers prior to 2010 all enjoyed James and his valuable contribution to the brewery.  Each year since his passing\, a corn hole tournament has been held in his honor\, this year's is Saturday\, September 10th.  Teams of two\, blind draw\, $20 entry per team.  Registration is available Friday\, the 9th from 5-7 pm or On Saturday from 11 to noon\, Tourney starts are 1 pm.  Contact Jim for any additional information.

SUMMARY:Jack Russell takes Part in Pub Crawl
DESCRIPTION:Announcing the First Annual Brewmeister Poker Run Pub Crawl!    When: Saturday\, June 18th\, 2011\, 9 am-9pm    It’s about time that we tour some of our best local breweries.  We have put together a 5 brewery pub crawl with a twist.  Board a charter bus in the morning and tour some of the best beer Northern California has to offer!    Here is the rundown:    9:00 am: Meet at Lockdown Brewing Company at 11327 Trade Center Drive in Rancho Cordova.  Lockdown is the perfect gathering place as there is lots of parking\, it is about 200 yards east of the Sunrise light rail stop\, and they have excellent beer!     10:15 am: Board Bus and proceed to East Sac for a stop at Rubicon Brewing Company.      11:30 am: Back on the bus and off to Loomis for a visit with the Sacramento Area’s newest brewery\, Jim Gowan’s Loomis Basin Brewing.      1:00 pm: A short hop up highway 80 to Auburn Ale House     3:00 pm:  Depart Auburn Ale House and make the trip to Jack Russell Farm Brewery in Camino.  BBQ Dinner will be provided by Keith’s Sierra Smoker\, with your choice of chicken\, ribs\, chicken and ribs and some sides.     8:00 pm: Depart Jack Russell and head back down to drop you off at Lockdown\, arriving around 9:00 pm.    Here’s the Twist:  At each stop\, participants will be given a playing card.  At Jack Russell\, after receiving the fifth card\, the top ‘Poker Hands’ will be awarded prizes from The Brewmeister and the Breweries we visit.    We will be chartering a motor coach with room for 50 people.  The plan is to sell one bus quickly\, and if we have demand for a second\, we will add it.    Tickets are $60 and include the bus ride\, your first pint at each brewery\, some appetizers at Auburn Ale House and BBQ dinner at Jack Russell.  Tickets are on sale at The Brewmeister or at www.folsombrewmeister.com.   Online ticket sales incur a $2 processing fee for a total of $62.   Hurry\, this will sell out fast.

SUMMARY:2011 Apple Beer Release Weekend
DESCRIPTION:We are proud to release our 2011 Harvest Apple Ale during this year's Apple lossom Festival in Apple Hill.   The Festival takes place the last weekend of April (April 30th-May1).
